You're a tenant and you're paying your rent on time, your credit score might be affected. There are tenants out there that will pay on time for nine months straight and then not pay the rent for three months, knowing that their property management company is not gonna report this to the credit bureau. Well, credit bureaus have gotten smart and they understand that is what is going on. So now the credit bureaus might be grouping all tenants together, whether you're paying on time or late, and it's not gonna help you and your credit score. If your goal is to increase your credit score so you can own a home, it's gotten more difficult.
